ABOUT ME

Based in York, I run a busy private practice working with a diverse range of clients. In addition to private work, I see clients through a number of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs). Working from my office at Regus in Clifton Moor as well as online, I provide a supportive and confidential space where you can talk freely. I am also active as a qualified supervisor, having previously lectured at York St John University. I had a former career as a classical musician, performing and teaching professionally for ten years. Following a decision to work in the helping professions, I gained experience in working on mental health wards, with adults with learning disabilities, and supporting people with physical disabilities. I believe that this rich life experience informs my work, being able to support people going through difficult life transitions, as well as relating to people from a wide range of backgrounds. For more about my approach, please visit the blog page.
